The creation of APRIL North America in June 2007 is the beginning of APRIL Group's implantation in Canada. Located in Montreal, APRIL North Amercica is a holding company which gathers today two local brokers :

Created in 1957, Dave Rochon is located in Montreal (Quebec). This masterbroker is specialized in high risk for property and casualty for private or professional life. Its offer is distributed by a network of almost 800 brokers.

In 2006, the company reached a turnover of more than $CAN 4 millions, with a staff of 20 persons for 9 000 customers.

With Dave Rochon, APRIL GROUP takes a strong place in the Canadian market with its masterbroker historical know-how on specific risks, with the aim at developing its complementary offer.

Located in Quebec (Sainte Croix) and created in 2003, Escapade is a broker dedicated to travel insurances for personal life.

Its products are mainly sold by the Internet and by phone.
With a 5 persons team, the company reached in 2006 a turnover of $CAN 520 000 and owns 9 000 customers.

Thanks to this acquisition, APRIL GROUP reinforces its know-how in the field of international mobility insurances.
